Regeneration Heating Systems

Regeneration Gas Heating Systems use a variety of gases and heat to the desired temperature to dry catalyst beds and mole sieves. Typically, these systems will be skid based panel mounted or a junction box for panel remote location.  With modern catalyst designs systems requiring higher temperatures for regeneration, systems are often 304ss construction. Systems often will need multiple heaters to reach higher temperatures. HC Thermal’s typical construction is a circulation heater type unit designed to maximize velocity in the unit and control the element temperature to maximize heater life.

More About This Product

Systems often will need multiple heaters to reach higher temperatures. HC Thermal’s typical construction is a circulation heater-type unit designed to maximize velocity in the unit and control the element temperature to maximize heater life.

Regeneration gas heaters are used to control air pollution by treating exhaust gases containing volatile organic compounds (VOCs) and other pollutants. These heaters are designed to efficiently reduce harmful emissions before they may be released into the atmosphere.

The process of a regeneration gas heating system includes an inlet gas stream process, preheating and purification, the regeneration phase, heat recovery, and an outlet gas stream.

Advantages:

Electric heaters can maintain very tight temperature control. Easily tuned to keep the heater element temperature as close to processing temps as possible. No NOx permits are required.

There are several advantages to using regeneration gas heaters for various industrial applications. These include:

  • High-thermal efficiency through the recovery and reuse of heat from the combustion phase to preheat the incoming gas stream.
  • Long service life, as regeneration heaters are durable and designed to withstand high temperatures and pollutant exposure.
  • Energy savings through minimized energy consumption.
  • Environmental compliance by destroying VOCs and other harmful pollutants.

Applications:

Mole Sieves, Catalyst Regeneration
